Music in the parks
Dates: June-August 2018
In Barcelona art is where you less expect, especially in Summer. Every year, the main parks of the city—such Ciutadella, Pedralbes or Trinitat—are filled up with music. For fifteen years Barcelona City Council organizes this unique initiative with the aim to approach quality music to all kind of publics. That’s why, during Summer, you can come across with jazz, blues, rock or classic music concerts for free. Get lost in the city and come across with some good rhythms.
Festival Jardins Terramar (Sitges)
Dates-July 20th-August 5th
Sitges is well known for its beach, party, the Cinema Film Festival and since 2017, this music event. This brand new festival is celebrated in the romantic and enormous Terramar gardens. During fourteen days you’ll have the chance to see the most important artists of Catalonia and abroad. Some of them are Gregory Porter, Joan Manuel Serrat, Gloria Gaynor or Sergio Dalma.
Rock Fest
Dates: July 5-7
Are you ready to rock & roll all nite? Can you listen to the wind of change? This is Barcelona Rock Fest, one of the most important events of the genre. In just three days you’ll do some head banging with The Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne or Megadeth.
Cap Roig Festival
Dates-July 13rd-August 22nd
Cap roig gardens are considered the best botanic gardens in the Mediterranean, so they are the perfect place to enjoy live music. This sea has brought up artists like Sergio Dalma, Andrea Bocelli, Macaco or Luz Casal. Now is time to return the favor with good vibes. This is what the Mediterranean sounds like.
Barcelona Beach Festival
Date: July 14th.
The Fórum Beach welcomes one more year BFF, the first music festival celebrated in the seaside. Here you’ll enjoy the best DJ’s in Spain and around the world such David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, Abel or Oliver Hendels. 24 hours of non stop bites and the best party you can imagine.
Cruïlla
Dates: July 13-14
Cruïlla festival is a mixture of music styles, cultures and sensations. It is celebrated at Parc del Fòrum (yes, close to Barcelona Beach Festival) and despite the fact that every year gets better, they don’t want to become a crowded event. Whether you like heavy metal, rock, pop, indie or electronics, there is a concert for you. Jack White, Prophets of Rage, Justice or N.E.R.D are some folks of the lineup.
