Smoother temperatures are here and with them, the desire to make open air plans. May is good (when it doesn’t rain, of course). April Fair
Until May 6th, Seville spirit is camping at Parc del Fòrum to celebrate its quintessential party: the April Fair of Catalonia. Museum Night
On Saturday, May 19th, the Night of the Museums is celebrated, in which approximately a hundred centers open their doors until dawn. Not only you can enjoy its collections and exhibitions, there are also thematic routes, concerts, poetry recitals or theater and dance performances on the street.
Concerts
May in Barcelona is a month full of concerts. Keep your Game of Thrones hype calmed by reliving the most intense moments with Game of Thrones: Life Concert Experience at the Palau Sant Jordi. Get emotional with Sam Smith (15th) and discover famous indie band Vetusta Morla (19th). Finally, Romeo Santos bachata will make the Palau Sant Jordi dance on May 17th.

On May 19th there is the Soundeat 2018, an outdoor event iat Plaça del Forum marked by electronic music, gastronomy and above all, the desire to have fun. At the end of the month, from May 30th to June 3rd, there is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year: Primavera Sound. The most outstanding performances of this edition are Arctic Monkeys, Björk, Lorde or The National.
World Press Photo 2018
The most outstanding exhibition of the month will remain at  Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) until May 27th. 137 photographs portray the news that have shaked the world during the year, such as the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, Europe terrorist attacks or the precarious conditions of the refugees.
Girona Temps de Flors
Take the most of good weather to organize a getaway for a day or weekend near Barcelona. Here one of the most beautiful festivals in Catalonia: Girona Temps de Flors. From May 12nd to 20th the city celebrates a welcome party to spring flooding its streets with flowers. An incredible show that is worth enjoying.
